Nestled in the heart of Victoria's Yarra Valley, is Healesville Animal Sanctuary. It's a fantastic place to get up close and personal with Australian wildlife in their own natural habitat.  The Sanctuary is quite large. There is 30 hectares (or 70 acres) of unique Australian bushland for you to explore.  You'll see kangaroos, koalas, wombats, dingoes, emus, Australian bird species and platypus.
